Bruce Springsteen Releases Live Recording Of Bridge School Benefit Concert

Rock icon Bruce Springsteen has released a recording of the acoustic set that he performed at the 1986 Bridge School Benefit concert in the form of an album, titled Springsteen Bridge School.

His first gig following the massive, worldwide “Born in U.S.A” tour, the event was held on October 13, 1986, at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. Springsteen was joined by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, with Neil Young serving as co-organizer of the concert.

The collection is available for purchase through Springsteen’s official website. $2 from each sale will be donated to the Bridge School, an “innovative organization educating children with severe speech and physical impairments.”
