Carol Vorderman and Corrie stars brave rain for Cheltenham Festival’s Gold Cup

Carol Vorderman and the stars of Coronation Street were among the famous faces who braved to party on day four of the Cheltenham Festival .

A number of celebrity racing fans made sure they were at the course today to watch the famous Gold Cup – and a bit of rain wasn’t going to stop them.

Former Countdown star Carol, 58, wore her sexiest outfit yet and turned heads as she headed to the stands to watch all of the day’s action.

The telly star looked chic in an asymmetrical cut knee length blinding white skirt with a matching suit jacket.

Also there to see the day’s big race were Corrie stars Michael Le Vell and Alan Halsall.

The pair pair wore matching suits and flat caps as they made the most of the festivites.

This year’s festival was pretty rain-soaked and today was no exception.

Former Top Gear star Richard Hammond was spotted getting soaked in a particularly nasty downpour as he attended with wife Mindy and the kids.

Also in attendance today was keen racing fan Zara Tindall, who was there with her husband Mike.

This year’s festival has been awash with famous faces who’ve headed down to the course over the last four days.

Rod Stewart and his wife penny Lancaster were seen getting into the spirit of things earlier this week, while Andy Murray and partner Kim were spotting cheering on a winner from the stands.

Other stars who headed down there this week included Jamie Redknapp, Georgia Toffolo, Vogue Williams, Sam Quek and Eamonn Holmes.

Love Island star Chris Hughes was also down there all week covering the action for ITV Races.

The Cheltenham Gold Cup is one of the most coveted prizes in horse racing.

The famous race was won by outside Al Boum, ridden by Paul Townend, coming in at 12-1.

Anibale Fly (22-1) was second with Bristol De Mai (18-1) in third.
