Foreigner Releases Trailer For ‘Double Vision Then And Now’
Hard rock band Foreigner has released a trailer for the Barry Summers-produced concert film titled Double Vision: Then and Now, recorded during the band’s 40th anniversary reunion show at the Soaring Eagle Casino Resort in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, in October 2017.
Featuring the largest-ever gathering of the band’s numerous alumni members, most of the original members of the band came together to play a 5-song set before joining the current lineup to play two more tracks.
“I mean, it’s been a little while in the making, but the production of it, obviously, and a lot of paints went into it. I’m very happy with the result,” founder and guitarist Mick Jones said in an interview with Billboard.
The collaborative show, which they have played a few times since, will be back for fans’ enjoyment on several dates this October, but it does not seem likely to turn into a full-fledged tour, Jones admitted.
“I think one or two of the guys don’t really relish the thought of (touring); They lead a different lifestyle these days,” he said.
The 4-minute trailer showcases several breathtaking moments from the show and also includes snippets of interviews with the bandmembers themselves.
The film can be viewed on July 19 on the AT&T AUDIENCE Network, DirecTV Ultra 4k, AT&T U-Verse, DirecTV NOW and the DirecTV App.
