P!nk Earns Fifth No. 1 On Adult Contemporary Chart With ‘Walk Me Home’

P!nk‘s “Walk Me Home” rose to the top spot on Billboard‘s Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart dated September 14, earning the pop star her fifth No. 1 on the list.

P!nk’s first No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart was “Try,” in April 2013. Her “Just Give Me a Reason,” featuring Nate Ruess, stayed on top for nine weeks, beginning July 6 2013.

“Just Like Fire” also ruled the chart for nine weeks, beginning October 8, 2016, and “What About Us” reigned for four weeks, starting from January 27, 2018.

With five No. 1s to her name since she first claimed the top spot six years ago, P!nk has the record for most AC leaders of any act during this span, moving past Taylor Swift, who has four to her credit. Maroon 5, Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran have three No. 1s.

She first reached any Billboard ranking in 2000, when “There You Go” debuted on both Dance Club Songs and Rhythmic Songs.

P!nk co-wrote “Walk Me Home” with Nate Ruess and Scott Harris. The track is from P!nk’s album Hurts 2B Human, which debuted as her third No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in May.
