Asda fuel offer: Supermarket slashes cost of petrol and diesel by 4p per litre
Asda is enticing motorists through its doors with its fuel offer.
From today, the supermarket has reduced the price of fuel by up to 4p.
It’s likely that this could spark a price war, causing other supermarkets to lower their prices too.
Here’s everything you need to know about the offer.
After dropping its fuel prices by 3p per litre on June 6, Asda has reduced them even further.
Customers visiting its stations can fill up for 124.7p per litre on diesel and 123.7p per litre on unleaded petrol.
This may lead to other stores following suit, with Morrisons and Tesco slashing their fuel prices by up to 5p in the past.
As of June 2018, Asda operated 319 petrol stations in the UK.

How to use less fuel
If you’re worried about costs, there are steps you can take to reduce how much you’re spending.
A way to ensure you’re burning through less fuel is to make your car more efficient.
Keep your tyres inflated and try to make your vehicle as light as possible by de-cluttering.
This reduces the amount of drag on your motor, meaning you’ll use less fuel up.
Turning off your air-con and using cruise control on motorways are other ways to cut back on your diesel and petrol usage.
