Comedian Paul Chuckle, 74, had Good Morning Britain presenters Adil Ray, 47, and Charlotte Hawkins, 46, in stitches following the revelation that he is a DJ. The Chuckle Brothers star talked about his love of house music and even suggested that he would be dropping his own track soon during today’s instalment.
Paul appeared on the show as a guest to discuss his role in Coronation Street star Sally Lindsay’s new series The Madame Blanc Mysteries, but the conversation took an unlikely turn.
“And of course I do nightclubs, DJ-ing,” Paul threw out casually, causing hosts Adil and Charlotte to do a double take.
“I didn’t know you DJ! What kind of music do you play?” asked Adil.
The presenter was then subsequently shocked to discover that Paul mainly likes to play “house anthems”.

“House anthems?! Are we getting our arms in the air?” Adil joked.
The former ChuckleVision star is no stranger to large crowds of music fans, having previously performed a 20 minute set with his late brother Barry Elliot (Barry Chuckle) at Bestival in September 2015.
Charlotte added that they all could have enjoyed “a little session this morning” thanks to Paul’s DJ-ing capabilities, while Adil seemed in awe.
“This is news to me!” he exclaimed.
“To you,” Paul replied in a witty reference to the old Chuckle Brothers joke “to me, to you”.
Paul and Barry’s BBC children’s show Chucklevision ran for an astounding 292 episodes over 21 series from 1987 to 2009.
During that time, the brothers released an album entitled To You to Me featuring 11 tracks in October 1995.
Paul’s passion for music still appears to be going strong, as evidenced by his regular gigs.

“I just do a guest appearance – I do one hour in the middle of the session,” Paul explained.
“You know, they have the DJ there and I do one hour there and get them at it.”(sic)
The comedian also revealed that his next stint as a DJ will see him travel to Leeds to perform in Pryzm nightclub on November 8.
Even more astonishingly, Paul shared with the Good Morning Britain presenters that he had his own song coming out, The Only Way Is To Me To You.
“Are you winding us up here?” Adil said in response to this announcement, while Charlotte described the whole thing as “surreal”.
Paul clarified: “No, I’m just down with the kids, you know me.”
An impressed Adil concluded: “You’ve always been cool, you’ve always been on the pulse. This is incredible.”
“I mean, I think you’re gonna get a lot of fans,” he added.
The third episode of Channel 5’s six-part thriller The Madame Blanc Mysteries airs 8:55 pm tomorrow and the whole series is available via Catch Up.
