Céline Dion celebrates ‘Courage’ album release with karaoke at drag bar

Céline Dion celebrated the release of her new album, “Courage,” with fellow queens.

Dion, 51, performed an impromptu karaoke set at Lips Drag Queen Show Palace Restaurant & Bar in New York City on Thursday night in honor of her album’s release. She sang her hit single “Flying on My Own” and gave an emotional shoutout to her late husband René Angélil, telling the crowd she hopes he likes the new album. She then gave him a kiss up in heaven.

Spies also told Page Six that Dion, wearing a striking silver ensemble, stopped to take a bunch of selfies with fans who were standing outside Lips.

In the days leading up to her album’s launch, Dion released a tear-filled music video for the record’s title track.

“Courage don’t you dare fail me now / Cause it’s not easy / When you’re not with me,” Dion sings in the tune as she holds back tears.

The iconic musician lost Angélil and brother, Daniel, only two days apart in 2016.
