Matt Baker, 43, is back on Countryfile tonight as he hosts the show from the Llŷn Peninsula. However, the star recently called his wife Nicola Baker out on social media for being “much classier” than he is.

Matt’s wife Nicola recently joined Instagram where she has been posting updates from her life.

This included a snap of a beautiful lamp as she thanked fans for their support for her show with Matt.

Called Our Farm in the Dales, the documentary series followed the couple as they moved with their children to Matt’s parents’ farm.

They were called in to help make it more accessible after Matt’s mother suffered a nasty fall.

Posting when the show was airing last month, Nicola penned: “There’s another chance to watch the last episode of Our Farm in the Dales on More4 at 8pm tonight if you haven’t seen it yet.

“I loved sitting round the fire pit in the courtyard when we’d finished our work – perfectly warmed toes with a glass of mulled wine and a piece of bat loaf!

“Thanks for all your lovely comments about the series, it’s very much appreciated.”

Many of her fans responded to the post, pointing out how much they love the show.

Matt was among those replying to his wife’s update and he couldn’t help but point out their difference in styles.

He replied: “Already your insta is so much classier than mine.”

The Countryfile presenter accompanied the response with a laughing face and heart emoji.

Nicola then replied to her husband with the same emojis as well as a kissing face.

Many fans thought his message was hilarious as the comment racked up 146 likes.

One replied to the pair writing: “Agree”.

However, another disagreed, claiming that it was “equally classy”.

Other fans responded with a series of laughing emojis to the post. .

Matt shared how his mother and wife were joining Instagram back in April.

He posted a video on his page sharing the news in view of his 274,000 followers.

The presenter said: “For the longest time, you’ve all been asking, ‘Is your mum and your wife on Instagram? (sic)’

“Well, the answer is now yes so if you love all things rural, if you love animals, if you love baking, if you love all of those quirky things.

“If you want to hear the things that I’m not allowed to post… here’s the answer!”

Countryfile airs tonight at 6pm on BBC One.
