Dame Joan Collins reveals she’s in talks for biopic – but has strict conditions

It’s almost time for Dame Joan Collins: The Movie.

Dynasty star Dame Joan, 85, has revealed she is in “deep discussion” over a biopic.

And she wants “somebody from RADA” — make that two somebodies — to take on the starring role.

“There has to be two,” she said. “One to play me until I am 25, then another one.”

Dame Joan made her stage debut aged nine, then trained at RADA — the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art — herself.

Confirming she was in talks over a film chronicling her enduring career and five marriages, Dame Joan said: “It is in deep discussion, but I can’t say more than that.”

Speaking on stage during her Unscripted tour, Dame Joan seemed open to the idea that Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt could play her.

But when Percy Gibson, 54 — her husband of 17 years who is also in the show — suggested Catherine Zeta-Jones, she joked: “I am not saying nothing. Next question.”
