Eva Longoria leads glam stars at Final Cut screening at Cannes Film Festival

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria led the glamour as she attended the screening of Final Cut at the opening ceremony of Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.

The 47 year old was joined by Julianne Moore and Lashana Lynch and looked incredible as she wore a plunging, semi-sheer black gown.

She finished the look with a black choker, complete with diamanté detail, and paired it with black high heels.

Eva's gown had a semi-sheer ruffled skirt with sequins and thin spaghetti straps.

Her dark hair was swept into an elegant up do with loose curls framing her face. She chose a bold eyeshadow look which she highlighted with a soft coloured lipstick.

Eva was attending the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival which was held at the Festival Palace, or Palais des Festivals.

James Bond star Lashana Lynch, 34, opted for an angelic white dress with a beaded lace pattern.

Her FENDI Couture gown was paired with emerald drop earrings and a dazzling ring and bracelet.

Lashana opted for a nude makeup look and painted her fingernails white for the occasion.

Hollywood star Julianne, 61, wore a classic black satin gown with a low neckline and drop waist.

She paired her floor-length dress with a diamond and emerald necklace and large emerald ring.

The Still Alice star wore her envious auburn locks loose over her shoulders.

Eva was one of the first to enter the French resort for the film festival and was spotted standing on a balcony at the Martinez Hotel on the eve of the red carpet festival.

Posting on her Instagram Stories, Eva shared a picture on the balcony as she basked in a golden sunset. She captioned the post: "Hello my sweet Cannes."

The festival was cancelled in 2020 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and held under strict health protocols in 2021. However, it returned in all its glory on Tuesday night.

Cannes Film Festival previews new films of all genres from all around the world.

Many TikTok stars will be taking to the red carpet this year after organisers have sought to refresh the event by partnering with the video streaming platform.
