Gemma Collins and mum Joan put on very colourful display at Chelsea Flower Show

Gemma Collins made a bright and colourful appearance with her mum Joan as the pair visited the Chelsea Flower Shower in London on Monday afternoon.

The mum-and-daughter duo were pictured as they arrived at the annual event hosted by the Royal Horticultural Society at The Royal Hospital grounds in the capital.

Gemma, 41, certainly stood out at the show as she was seen wearing a yellow and pink lemon printed maxi dress from her New Look collection that had ruffle detailing along the waist.

The TOWIE star’s accessorises shone just as brightly as she added to her look a pair of pink chain sandals and quilted handbag, along with oversized embellished sunglasses, pink gloss and matching nails to finish.

Mum Joan co-ordinated with her daughter as she wore a coat in the same shade of pink with flared sleeves and a white printed top underneath, accompanied by a brown Louis Vuitton tote.

The pair looked to be having a great time as they were seen being shown around the flower show along with other visitors who had come to observe the garden displays.

Gemma shared with her 2.2 million followers glimpses from inside the event as she uploaded a series of clips of the colourful rose presentations she had seen on show at the grounds.

The reality star also posted a photo of herself smiling in her sunny outfit as she posed underneath a giant flower arch.

“What a BEAUTIFUL DAY @the_rhs #chelseaflowershow nothing was going to stop me,” Gemma captioned.

“My knee is killing me now I shouldn’t be walking for too long but no rain or knee will stop me love my plants rocking my @newlook collection.”

The comedian had gone to drastic measures earlier this month to sooth her “painful knees” as she stepped into a cryochamber set at -196 degrees.

Gemma underwent the procedure, which is usually taken to soothe sore joints, at Ice Health Cryotherapy in London and shared with fans her experience midway through being in the chamber.

Posting a video clip of herself, Gemma said: “I am in the cryochamber yet again to stimulate everything. I’ve been so busy and it’s just getting everything going again and keeping on top of things. The benefits are endless.

“I’ve really got pain in my knees at then minute so it’s taking out the inflammation, boosting my metabolism, energy, and it helps you sleep and it boosts happy hormones in you.

"It does feel really good actually.”
