Giovanni Pernice, 31, took to Instagram and shared a cheeky video online today. The Strictly Come Dancing champion reacted to rumours that his dance partner Rose Ayling-Ellis, 27, had pulled out of the arena tour which is set to kick off on Thursday.

The Italian-born dancer took to the picture-sharing site and cleared up the claims in a candid clip.

In view of his 792,000 followers, Giovanni could be seen sitting on a train as he spoke into his camera phone.

He began: “Good morning lovely people. Just a quick message to clarify all the rumours that are going around at the moment.

“Yes, it’s true. Rose is not doing the tour at all anymore.”

“So I will be dancing on my own, all day, every day.”

The Strictly winner suddenly went quiet as Rose suddenly appeared in the clip.

She interjected: “I’m not going anywhere.”

The EastEnders star gave a quizzical look at her dance partner following his cheeky prank.

“You’re not going anywhere?” he questioned, “You are coming on tour with me?”

Giovanni clarified: “Oh, she is doing the tour.”

Rose asked: “Are you happy?”

To which the pro dancer replied: “Very. Thank you.”
