Gordon Ramsay rules out sixth child as he fears being ‘oldest f**ker’ at school

Gordon Ramsay, 56, has ruled out having a sixth child with his long-term wife Tana, 49.

The couple, who married in 1996, are already parents to Megan, 24, twins Holly and Jack, 23, Tilly, 21, and Oscar, four.

Now, the chef’s wife is keen to add another to their clan, but he isn’t so up for it due to concerns about his age.

Speaking on Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett on the Dish podcast, Gordon joked about the chaos another child would add to the school run and also said he feared looking like a grandad at the gates.

He spilled: “It’s like going to school, going out for dinner in two buses.

“And secondly, I’m going to be the oldest f***er at school. ‘Who’s your grandad?’

“And what about sports day? The egg and spoon race. What am I going to do?

“So, I’d love another one, but no, five is enough for now,” he added.

In the same chat, the restaurateur revealed how their youngest Oscar was already fussing over school food and swearing like him.

Gordon admitted: “He didn’t want to wear his blazer. He said, ‘Dad, it’s too f***ing itchy’. And he said, ‘the food’s s***’.

“I said, ‘Son, BYO’. He said, ‘What does that mean?” I said, “Bring your f***ing own’.

“So he’s got his own lunchbox, it’s all prepped, he’s got his finger sandwiches.”

Gordon has previously joked that his daughters only like him because he knows model Gigi Hadid – and not because of his food.

“That’s the only reason why they want to talk to me,” he once told People Magazine.

He added: “The bond has felt like cramming 10 vacations all at once, handed on a plate, and garnished with parsley.

“We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve fallen in love, we’ve fallen out of love, and we came out of it so much stronger together.

“There’s a level of closeness like we’ve never had before.”

In a family TikTok video in 2020, Tilly also revealed she preferred her mum’s cooking to her dad’s.

Despite this, she has followed in Gordon’s footsteps, appearing on multiple cooking programmes including Celebrity Masterchef Australia in 2021.

Tilly impressed the judges with her cooking skills, but missed out on the win to Nick Riewoldt.

In the same year, she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing with professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin but was voted out of the show ahead of the quarter finals.
