And Helen Mirren, 73, gave her fans a glimpse at the 91st annual Academy Awards on Sunday night as she documented her night on social media.

The British acting legend shared all on Instagram as she snapped selfies with the stars and showed off her glam squad getting to work to create her super chic look.

An excited Helen also managed another star selfie, catching up with fellow Brit Gary Oldman. ‘Backstage with one of the coolest brit’s who also is a great actor. Great Gary,’ she told her fans.

‘In case you missed it an astounding necklace ( and earrings and bracelet) from Harry Winston that I was so honored to be able to wear. Thank you Harry Winston . You made me feel like a queen for the night!’ she wrote.

The Eye in the Sky actress didn’t hold back on the glitz, wearing a clustered diamond necklace as well as a pair of matching earrings and bracelet. 

Helen revealed to The Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye on the red carpet that she was wearing $6million (£4.59m) worth of Harry Winston diamonds.

‘They’re worth more than a house,’ the actress joked about how she’d accessorised her Schiaparelli gown.    


Beaming: Helen’s slightly plunging number featured shades of pink in the tulle frock, which was clinched around her waist with a fabric belt


Working it: She added further pops of colour with a quirky pink clutch and a striking pink lip, while also sporting a dramatic eye make-up look
