Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer set for ‘awkward’ NTA co-hosting gig after split

Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer ‘s fans have pointed out how awkward their upcoming co-hosting gig will be now they’ve split.

The Love Island winners announced just a few days ago that they’d be the social media hosts for next year’s National Television Awards.

But now that they’ve broken up, fans think it could be a bit awkward, despite the fact Dani has said they plan to remain good friends.

On November 25, Jack took to Instagram to share a picture of himself and Dani in their glad rags and posing up with NTA trophies.

He said: "So excited to reveal the news that myself and @danidyerxx we are going to be the National Television Awards 2019 Social Media Hosts #NTAs"

Dani shared a very similar picture that showed Jack leaning in to kiss her on the cheek as she held onto one of the awards.

She said: "Amazing news… we are going to be the National Television Awards 2019 Social Media Hosts! #NTAs"

But after news of their split, fans asked if they’d still be doing it.

One commented: "Well this is gonna be awkwardddd"

"Awks," another said.

While one asked: "Are you still hosting this together?"

And another said: "Guess this won’t be the case anymore"

Jack and Dani’s shock split was announced earlier tonight.

She said in a statement on Instagram: "Jack & I have sadly decided to part ways. It’s been an incredible 6 months, and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but sadly we’ve come to the realisation that it’s not meant to be long term.

"We both plan to stay friends. I hope you’ll all understand. Love Dani x"

The shock news came after reports that the couple had been arguing lately and just one day after Dani – daughter of EastEnders star Danny Dyer – released her autobiography, in which she talks about the relationship.

The pair recently welcomed an adorable pet bulldog puppy, called Sandy Fincham, into their lives, and shrugged off rumours of a rift by posting plenty of cute pictures.

Similarly to Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood, from the 2017 series, the pair have been filming a reality show about their lives together after the show.

It’s not known whether or not the break up was filmed.
