JWoww claims estranged husband Roger Mathews harassed her
Jenni “JWoww” Farley allegedly informed authorities estranged husband Roger Mathews harassed her by documenting her without her consent, insiders told TMZ.
The “Jersey Shore” star, who was granted a restraining order against the father of her daughter Meilani, 4, and son Greyson, 2, is said to have told police Mathews, 43, filmed her without prior knowledge. Mathews was removed from the family’s home early Friday morning after he and Farley, 32, allegedly had a disagreement hours prior.
Farley reportedly waited until Mathews went to bed to phone police and allege harassment, according to the gossip site.
The MTV personality filed for divorce from Mathews in September after nearly three years of marriage. The pair were said to be in couple’s counseling for the last three months.
Mathews addressed the incident Friday in a series of Instagram videos.
“I documented with them that I was concerned she was going to make up a fake story,” Mathews said.
Farley has since broken her silence on the matter, releasing a statement through her team.
“Certain events transpired last night which lead Jenni to involve authorities, as she felt it was in her best interests, and the best interests of her children to do so. Any statements and social media posts depicting anything to the contrary are entirely false, misleading, and intentionally designed to cast Jenni in a negative light,” the statement read.
Additional surveillance footage, released by Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi on Friday, showed Farley telling officers Mathews is “not a bad dad.”
Polizzi also lept to her friend’s defense from internet trolls.
JWoww crying over custody talk with police
“She is fighting for him to be in their lives and never once tried to take them away. Because you see 10 videos of him airing out their personal business regarding their divorce, it’s okay to bagger [sic] Jenni and send her death threats telling her she’s an awful mom and human being?” she wrote on Instagram.
“I know my sis and she is NOT the person Roger is painting her out to be. So congratulations, you gave him what he wants. Your attacks and bullying,” Polizzi continued.
As for Mathews, his first priority remains his children.
“This will be the hardest road I ever traveled no doubt for years to come but I will fight for my children and I have the truth on my side,” he captioned a video Friday on Instagram. “All I wanted was to stay together as a family and work on our issues and fight the good fight for greater good. I tried. I left everything I had on the table.
“Everything. In the end I must respect that’s not what the other side wanted but to use children as pawns is about the most disposable act a person can possibly do. This was never my wish nor my intent. My heart breaks for my children,” he added.
A rep for Mathews had no comment, while a rep for Farley did not immediately get back to us.
