Katie Price angers fans as kids look unimpressed promoting ‘zero calorie’ food

Katie Price has once again incensed her fans by using her children to help promote ‘zero calorie’ food, as they look distinctly unimpressed with being involved.

The former glamour model has been promoting ‘skinny’ foods and products recently and after using her kids for the second time in a week to showcase the diet food, her followers have had enough.

In a video posted on Instagram , 40-year-old Pricey is seen sitting at a table with 16-year-old Harvey, Bunny, four, and Jett, five, as they have a bowl of porridge in front of them.

The former Loose Women panelist it promoting zero-calorie syrups and as she urges her children to squeeze them over their porridge, they look as unimpressed as her fans, who took Katie to task for using them in the first place.

Bunny and Harvey are seen squeezing generous amounts of the syrup over their breakfast, as Katie urges them to get stuck in.

While the appeal of the syrup seems to have dominated their thoughts when flooding the porridge with the sticky stuff, they didn’t looked particularly overjoyed at the taste, as Katie made noises to suggest it was sensational on the tastebuds.

Katie’s offspring may have barely let any pass their lips but it was enough for the financially struggling reality star to declare it was not to be missed.

This didn’t sit well with her fans though, who replied to her Instagram video, in which Pricey declares: "So this morning we all tried a different @skinnyfoodco Zero Calorie Syrup in our Breakfast Porridge.

"They taste great and contain zero sugar and are fat free and calorie free!

"A fantastic healthier choice for kids instead of full sugar products. I need to just be careful they don’t get too carried away tomorrow morning. But at least it’s calorie free."

She was taken to task though as her followers questioned the nutritional values of the products, with one fan writing: "Full of additives that are so unhealthy."

The fact that the kids didn’t actually eat any of the porridge was not lost on those who watched the video, with one concerned follower observing: "The two younger kids didn’t swallow it, thankfully. Just played with it."

While another warned that feeding children these products may not be the best idea: "Products like this can give you gas & bloating & diarrhoea. Its not good for the little children to be thinking about these things at all, they need energy they are growing. Just give them a dash of honey or some berries".

Pricey has already used her children to promote ‘skinny food’ during the week, as she fed them pancakes with just 27 calories in, on Shrove Tuesday.

Katie captioned a photo of them ‘tucking in’ to the pancakes with zero calorie syrups: "The syrups are calorie free, fat free, gluten free and sugar free. They’re great for anybody but especially when you have kids with a sweet tooth. #AD #skinnyfoodco #Notguilty.”

This just led to a number of her followers call on a ban to stop children being used to promote diet products.

Katie has had a tough time with her finances recently, with debts of £2.1 million being revealed, that have left her nine-bedroom mansion in jeopardy of being sold to pay off what she owes.

The debts are one reason why Katie is promoting products to her millions of followers but it hasn’t sat well with many and one fan implored: "I know you’re skint, but please don’t use your children for an endorsement…. no amount of cash is worth that."
