Katy Perry shows support for Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips after she’s dumped by Callum Jones
It seems pop superstar Katy Perry is a fan of ITV's hit dating show Love Island as on Saturday the Roar singer backed contestant Shaughna Phillips after she was brutally dumped by Callum Jones.
A fan account posted a series of clips around the winter series, specifically showing the democratic services officer saying "congrats hun" after her 23 year old ex walked in with new girl Molly Smith.
It was captioned: "Should’ve never trusted a scaffolder anyway x [sic] ".

Seeing this, 35 year old Katy commented the word 'hun' with speech marks surrounding it, indicating she's in Shaughna's corner.
Shaughna was left devastated following the recoupling and was seen breaking down in tears in the Beach Hut as she questioned why she’s always the girl that gets dumped.
After a brief chat with Callum, the 25 year old appeared to be putting on a brave face, insisting she was happy for his decision to couple up with Molly.
However, she later broke down in tears and admitted she doesn’t want to be around the new couple.
A heartbroken Shaughna, who was recently branded a "bully" by Lauren Goodger, wept: “It’s weird because even when I’m talking to him now it’s like he’s a different person.
“Like, I don’t know how I’m going to be able to be around him and her,” she said through tears.
“I don’t want to.”
Earlier in the episode, Callum revealed the reason for recoupling with Molly as he reentered the villa and the dramatic Casa Amor twist concluded.
Host Laura Whitmore said: “Callum, you can see in front of you, Shaughna decided to stay loyal to you.”
Callum, who viewers have called to be dumped from the island after he called Shaughna "childish", then replied: “Obviously it’s not nice coming back to this. It’s a bit intense. But at the end of the day, I’ve gone with what I thought was the right decision, I’ve gone with my heart.

“I went to Casa Amor, I had a chance to speak to Molly, it brought out a side to me I didn’t think I had.
“The way I felt about her after 2/3 days just clarified it to be honest. Not to say anything against Shaughna, I wasn’t unhappy with her, it’s just that this has been a sign for me that something has been missing and I think I’ve found it with Molly.”
