Former Love Island star Scott van der Sluis has taken a swipe at his former villa mate Kady McDermott in an eyebrow raising comment.

Scott, 22, appeared on the most recent series from the villa where he entered into the show on episode 11, but was dumped by his fellow stars alongside Abi Moores.

While Kady, 27, who had previously appeared on the second series, entered the 2023 series of the show on day 19 and managed to turn her fair share of heads during her time.

And since leaving the show for the second time, she has been talking very openly about her time in the villa and has raised a few eyebrows by revealing some thoughts about her fellow islanders.

But in a recent Instagram story, Scott led a Q&A session so his fans could reach out and ask any questions they wanted to ask him.

And he was asked what he thought of Ouzy See and Kady who have been appearing on podcasts since leaving the show and talking very candidly about their fellow contestants.

Scott said: "I love Kady and I love Ouzy but I think they've been talking a little bit too much."

Kady had also been very public on her thoughts of Scott as she told heat: "I love Scott, but he knows what he's doing with his game.

"Scott knew what he was doing. He used to say you need to be in there four weeks to be a character…to be remembered."

She went onto question how genuine Scott was and whether his connections on the show were real.

But Scott has been clear with his fellow islanders that they should not take his comments personally if they should hear him talk about them publicly.

He told On Demand Entertainment about an exchange he shared with Kady and Ouzy while at a recent party.

"I spoke to Kady and Ouzy and they said don’t take anything personally. I said ‘when I get on a podcast, don’t take it personally," Scott said.

Scott and Kady were not the best of friends in the villa as they had a big clash during the Movie Night episode when the contestants were sat down and the group watched their fellow villa mates antics during the Casa Amor episodes of the show.
