Love Island’s Yewande Biala says she dumped George Rains because she ‘couldn’t trust him’ – EXCLUSIVE

Love Island’s Yewande Biala has set the record straight on rumours of her breakup with her villa cast mate George Rains.

Earlier this month it was reported George, 22, “used” the 23 year old reality star and was also seeing an Instagram model behind the Irish beauty’s back.

Romance rumours sparked between the pair in August after a video of George seemed to show Yewande’s makeup on his face during a night out – suggesting the pair shared a cheeky smooch.

But, things seemed to cool off between the pair and Amber Gill was seen liking a shady tweet about George, which hinted at the idea of him of using Yewande for fame.

Yewande has now exclusively opened up to OK! online about her “dreadful” love life and lifted the lid on what really happened between her and the quiet Casa Amor lad.

When asked about her love life at her In The Style clothing line launch, Yewande laughed and told us: “Oh, dreadful, dreadful, dreadful, dreadful. I think at the moment I’m not even interested in dating. I’m just kind of taking each day as it goes because you honestly don’t know who’s genuine. I’m kind of sick of it all.”

When asked if her comments were aimed at George, she said: “Yeah, it was interesting…“

She then explained that when she went home to visit her family, her sister showed her a clip of George speaking on the radio and claiming they “called it quits” because they’re “super busy”, but they “haven’t ruled out anything”.

Yewande then defiantly clarified that was not how things ended between her and George. She explained: “That conversation never actually happened.

“I called it quits because I couldn’t trust him so, that was why it ended.”

And, it seems Amber and some Twitter fans aren’t the only one who think George was perhaps “using” the stunning reality star to get himself propelled into the limelight.

When asked if she thought George had used her, Yewande said: “At the start I wasn’t looking at it that way but now, I kind of sit down and look at everything that happened… I think definitely, probably.”

The Irish beauty also set the record straight on rumours she and Sherif were dating, after he posted a cosy snap of the pair together in September.

A source told us last month: “Sherif and Yewande were at war after she thought he had thrown shade at her during his trip away.

“But they buried the hatchet and went out together last week.

“They’ve been messaging each other non-stop since and can’t understand why they didn’t get together in the villa as they have so much in common.”

When asked about the reports that she and Sherif were “messaging each other”, Yewande said: “We were doing what? No, we were not talking, we’ve never been on a date, we haven’t dated, there’s no intentions for us to date were just friends.”

And Yewande later insisted she’s single but “not ready to mingle”.

But, the 23 year old is focusing on her friendships with Amber and Anna Vakili and said they have something “exciting” planned in the near future.

Speaking about maintaining friendships with people from the villa, she explained: “I make an effort to keep in touch with everyone that I built a relationship with in the villa and I think it’s so important to make time of them and vice versa.”

Yewande, Anna, Amy, Joanna and Francesca’s In The Style The Power edit goes live at 6pm on Monday 21 October.
