Phillip Schofield: ‘Oh s**t’ This Morning star reveals VERY different look on Instagram
Phillip Schofield, 57, became slightly concerned when his family and friends tried to persuade him to dye his hair at a party this evening. The This Morning presenter shared the funny moment with his two million followers on Instagram as he was coerced into getting a makeover by his mum. The transformation started when a pal covered him in glitter from a spray can at the birthday celebrations, which prompted a frustrated reaction from the TV personality. In a selfie video, Philip fumed: “I hate fecking glitter, I hate it.”
However, in spite of his protestations, the ITV favourite seemed slightly disappointed when the fellow partygoer walked away with the glitter spray.
He jokingly exclaimed in response: “Was that it? If you’re going to do it, do it properly.”
The star’s family then took things a step further when they offered to replace his silver fox tresses with vibrant blue hair dye.
After wincing at the sight of the product, Phillip asked: “Does it wash out?
“I’m on the telly on Monday, does it wash out? Are you sure?”
Following his family’s reassuring comments, the presenter gave in and sighed: “Go on then.”
Party guests then burst into fits of laughter as the This Morning host’s hair began to turn completely blue.
Spotting his reflection on the camera, Phillip seemed shocked as he glanced at his appearance in disbelief and uttered: “Oh s**t.”
The presenter also shared the startling makeover with fans on his Instagram feed.
Posing for a selfie with his mum, who had also embraced the blue hair dye, he added the caption: “My mother encouraged this!!!”
Phillip’s followers were quick to comment on his surprising new look.
One wrote: “Blue rinse brigade.”
Another cheeky fan replied: “You do know it doesn’t wash out don’t you?”
A This Morning viewer joked: “Blue hair dye? Keep it for Monday…”
A fourth quipped: “Do you have the same hairdresser? X.”
A fifth responded: “The apple never falls far from the tree.”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
