Smashing Pumpkins Announce Tour With Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds
Smashing Pumpkins have announced a North American summer tour with Noel Gallagher‘s High Flying Birds.
The 16-date trek will launch on August 8 in Camden, New Jersey, and wrap up on August 31 in Mountain View, California. AFI will open on all the dates.
“Excited to announce The Smashing Pumpkins and @NoelGallagher’s High Flying Birds will be touring North America this summer with special guests @AFI. Tickets on sale this Friday, March 8th, at 10AM local,” Smashing Pumpkins tweeted.
Tickets for all shows, except the Los Angeles show, will go on sale to the general public starting Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation.
Smashing Pumpkins embarked on their “Shiny and Oh So Bright Tour” in 2018 after frontman Billy Corgan reunited with original members James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin. The reunited band issued the 10th Pumpkins LP, Shiny and Oh So Bright Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun, in November.
Gallagher released his third album with the High Flying Birds, Who Built the Moon?, in 2017.
