Loose Women presenter Stacey has been using her Instagram page to document the transformation of her home, Pickle Cottage.

Her luxury abode comes complete with a mini cottage in the garden for her three children, as well as its own swimming pool that she is currently making child-friendly.

Stacey, 31, is currently preparing her home ahead of the arrival of her fourth child, her second with fiancé Joe Swash.

However, the star, who found fame on The X Factor, was left startled when fans pointed out what they thought was a spooky intruder.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the Essex-born star was fooling around as she was putting on what resembled a gas mask, provided by Joe, 39, as they painted their new home.

Shortly after uploading the video clip, some of Stacey’s 4.5 million followers quickly noticed that in the bottom left-hand corner of her mirror, a face had appeared.

Addressing the concerns of her dedicated fans, Stacey shared a video shortly afterwards saying: “Loads of you are like, ‘What is that face in the mirror?’ and I thought ‘Oh my God, I’ve got ghosts!'”

She went on to say: “And then I looked back on my Stories and I realised, it’s only Dave, my Dad! He’s helping me cut the skirting [boards].”

Stacey captioned her post: “Few, at least I don’t have ghosts.

“Dave’s helping me cut some skirting and covering,” alongside a crying with laughter emoji.

Earlier this week, Stacey revealed she was distressed after her youngest son, Rex, two, was rushed to hospital following a fall.

In view of her millions of followers, Stacey shared an update about her traumatic week – revealing she hadn’t washed her hair in several days due to the stress.

Stacey wrote: “Good morning, I spent the morning sorting out my make-up and packing an overnight back for tonight.

“Because last week was such a nightmare I had to move lots of filming days to this week.”

She continued: “So I’m off to Gloucester this afternoon and there for a couple of days so I’m going to play with this one as much as I can today”, she added, as Rex played with Joe in a ball pit.”

The presenter went on to reveal that she had finally found time to take care of herself and indulge in a pamper.

Wearing a dress from her own In The Style collection, she continued: “I washed my hair for the first time in about three weeks yesterday, so I’m going to curl it with these mermaid curlers.

“I love having straight, clean, hair but I feel a bit like an Afghan hound,” she confessed to her fans.

After 40 minutes of hard work, Stacey revealed that she had finished styling her hair and felt like the Little Mermaid ahead of her trip to Gloucester.

Stacey shared her joy after Rex had been discharged from the hospital after requiring stitches following his accident.
