The 1975’s Matty Healy Offers Praise For Girlfriend FKA Twigs

The 1975‘s Matty Healy praised his girlfriend FKA Twigs after the singer-songwriter came forward with allegations of abuse against her former boyfriend Shia LaBeouf.

In a post on Instagram, The 1975 frontman shared a photo of Twigs smiling, calling her a “legend,” “icon,” and “loml” (love of my life), surrounded by several emojis.

Twigs, officially named Tahliah Debrett Barnett, sued her ex-boyfriend LaBeouf for “relentless” sexual, physical and emotional abuse last week.

She filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court, claiming that she was the victim of sexual battery, assault and emotional distress. The suit also claims that LaBeouf knowingly gave her an STD.

“Shia LaBeouf hurts women,” states the lawsuit, obtained by Variety. “He uses them. He abuses them, both physically and mentally. He is dangerous.”

Singer Sia also showed support for Twigs, alleging that she too had been “hurt” by LaBeouf.

“I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single,” Sia tweeted. “I believe he’s very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away.”
