Vanessa Bauer spotted on date with Dancing On Ice cameraman
All eyes have been on her relationship with Dancing On Ice partner Wes Nelson since the show started a few weeks ago.
However, Vanessa Bauer has fuelled speculation she may have her eye on someone else from the show after she was spotted on an apparent date in London on Tuesday.
The German ice skater, 22, was looking cosy with American cameraman Jordan Cowan as they spent the evening in Soho.
Looking comfortable in each other’s company, the pair were laughing and smiling as they left a bar and caught the train together.
Vanessa shared footage on Instagram of herself drinking tea at L’Eto in Soho, before moving on for cocktails at nearby Vetro.
The professional skater teased fans by only showing Jordan’s hands in the videos as the pair enjoyed their drinks.
Jordan is a Team USA ice dancer who created his own on-ice videography company On Ice Perspectives and often appears in Vanessa’s Instagram feed and YouTube diaries.
The DOI star’s night out with Jordan comes a few weeks after it was revealed she had split from circus performer Louis Nathaniel after two and a half years together.
At the time their split was reported in mid January, it was claimed Louis was uncomfortable over Vanessa’s apparent closeness to her celebrity partner Wes.
Her working relationship with Wes even irked his now ex-girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson , was admitted she was "jealous" of watching them skate together.
Megan attacked Vanessa on Instagram on the night of the latter’s first DOI skate with Wes, accusing her of being "tactical".
The Love Island star wrote: "Love that you decide to announce your breakup with your boyfriend on the night of your 1st performance with my boyfriend.
"You’ve never reached out to me once or invited me to watch you train, it pained you to introduce yourself to me last night you didn’t even look me in the eye LOL.
"Hope the tactical breakup got your the headlines you wanted babe."
However, it appears the pressure eventually got to Megan and Wes, who announced their split on Saturday after only six months together.
Vanessa, for her part, has been trying to stay out of the drama and post a message on Tuesday morning: "Basic. Avoid drama. Walk away in silence from anything that doesn’t improve your life."
Mirror Online has contacted Vanessa’s spokesperson for comment.
