Why ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Star Porsha Williams Is Pissed With Daytime Talk Show Host, Loni Love
Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Porsha Williams, is going through a roller coaster of emotions on season 12 of the reality series. After watching the head over heels in love radio host whirlwind romance with her fiancé Dennis McKinley last year, fans are not watching the devastating aftermath of McKinley’s infidelity. The show was taped months ago and Williams and McKinley are now in a happier place but not all are supportive of their union. Talk show host Loni Love has a lot to say during a recent segment of The Real when speaking about Williams’ relationship. Williams is pissed with Love’s comments and is not letting it go.
Porsha Williams forgives fiancé, Dennis McKinley, after his infidelity
McKinley and Williams’ relationship moved quickly. So much so, that Williams’ castmate, Kandi Burruss, was confused about their relationship timeline and questioned when they became exclusive as both Williams and McKinley continued to date other people at the beginning of their courtship.
Williams became pregnant with her and McKinley’s first child almost immediately after she says they became exclusive. McKinley spoiled Williams with lavish gifts. The biggest gift came in the form of an engagement ring when he asked Williams for her hand in marriage.
They had their own special, Real Housewives of Atlanta: Porsha’s Having A Baby, that documented their journey to parenthood with the birthday of their daughter, Pilar. The two were planning for a New Year’s Eve wedding but Williams ended their engagement after she discovered McKinley was unfaithful during her pregnancy.
They reconciled over the summer and fans are watching the couple sort out their issues on the current season of RHOA.

Now that Williams and McKinley’s engagement is back on, Williams is moving full speed ahead. In a recent interview with People Magazine, Williams spoke on what fans can expect from the current season with her and McKinley’s storyline.
“What we’re going through is reality,” she said. “Other people are going through it. By them seeing him take responsibility, me learning to forgive — all of that is something that will hopefully empower them.”
Williams says that just because she’s been through the ups and downs in her relationship does not mean she’ll turn the cameras off. In fact, she’s hoping for a wedding special to share her upcoming nuptials with McKinley. “This journey that I’ve been on, in television, I have committed to it,” she said. I’m committed to whatever my truth is and that being told in my own way.”
The hosts of the FOX daytime talk show, The Real, shared their thoughts on Williams’ revelation. Adrienne Bailon and Tamera Mowry said that while they don’t understand how Williams’ or other women could move past a cheating betrayal, they are supportive of anyone’s decision when it comes to what’s best for their family. Guest host, Tisha Campbell, explained that she would not put her personal life on display for the world to judge. Love was a bit more frank in her opinion, alluding to Williams marrying McKinley for fame.
“Let me tell you something, Porsha trynna get that reality show, that’s what that is,” Love said. The host also said that she’d be “intrigued” to watch the wedding special because of all of the drama the couple has endured.
Porsha Williams and Loni Love battle it out on Instagram
Williams was not happy with Love’s comments. The reality star took to her Instagram to let the host and comedian know that she felt her statement was hypocritical and sent her a warning.
“B**ch F you! #FakeA** don’t run up smiling when I see you,” Williams captioned on an IG post she shared with fans of a clip from the show.
Williams agreed with one commenter who wrote that everyone’s relationship was not perfect. According to Williams, even the hosts of The Real have dealt with hardships in their current relationships.
Loni replied to Williams’ post in a comment, insisting that she was joking, which is something the comedian says she does often on the show.
“Porsha…I didn’t say anything bad and you know it…it was a light hearted comment,” she wrote before ending with another jab. “I hope you get your show!”
Williams has since removed the post for her Instagram page and hasn’t made any further remarks about Love. The two have had a friendly relationship in the past with Williams appearing on The Real several times and even guest hosting but it looks like we won’t see her on the show anytime soon!
