Wolfgang Van Halen Says ‘It’s Really Hard Being Here’ Without Late Father
Reflecting on his father Eddie Van Halen a month after his death, Wolfgang Van Halen said its really hard to live without his late father.
On Saturday, he posted a black and white picture of the father and son on Instagram, accompanied by a poetic piece that depicts the depth of their intimate relationship.
“1 month. Not a second goes by where you’re not on my mind. I miss talking with you. I miss laughing with you. I miss listening to music with you. I miss making music with you. I just miss everything. I love you so much, Pop. It’s really hard being here without you,” the 29-year-old Van Halen bassist wrote.
Wolfgang is the son of Eddie Van Halen and his first wife, actress Valerie Bertinelli.
Eddie Van Halen, who was reportedly battling throat cancer, died in a hospital in Santa Monica, California, at age 65 on October 6.
