Astro Boy and Billionaire Boys Club Partner Up for New Exclusive Toy and Apparel Collection
Billionaire Boys Club has linked up with Astro Boy to prepare a new collaborative collection that entails a ToyQube vinyl collectible as well as a set of new apparel pieces. This joint project surfaces hot off the heels of BBC’s recent team-up with Timberland which involved a duo of GORE-TEX-lined hiking kicks and hoodies.
The star of this capsule is the toy which sees the Metro City character dressed as if he was a streetwear connoisseur and loyal fan of Pharrell. High waisted trunks and rocket boots are swapped out for iconic BBC ICECREAM articles of clothing including that of a Space Camo Hoodie, BBC Varsity Jacket and the ICECREAM Running Dog shorts.
For the wearable garments, the range calls upon graphic-treated hoodies and long sleeved t-shirts. The former come in either black or grey colorways and come furnished with comic book-inspired graphics printed across the sleeves and entire front side. The tees — which are available in black, grey and white — stack both monikers of the imprints on top of each other, along with an image of Astro Boy flying on a rocket.
The toy is unfortunately sold out now, but you can still cop the apparel items via BBC ICECREAM right now for $190 USD (tees) and $290 USD (hoodies).
