Chris Evans 'marries girlfriend' Alba Baptista in front of Marvel co-stars
Chris Evans is reportedly a married man, after tying the knot with girlfriend Alba Baptista over the weekend.
The Captain America actor, 42, was linked to the Portuguese actress for several months after being spotted holding hands in November 2022.
However, reports later emerged that the pair have been quietly dating for over a year, with one source declaring Chris had ‘never been happier.’
And it seems that that’s still the case as reports claim the couple said ‘I do’ Saturday in an intimate at-home wedding ceremony that took place in Massachusetts, Boston.
An insider shared that the guests’ signed NDAs (non disclosure agreements) and ‘phones were forfeited.’
Page Six also claimed that Chris and Alba invited their closest family and friends and even Chris’ former Marvel co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner joined in the celebrations.
At the beginning of the year the actor posted a video montage of what his 2022 looked like, and it turns out it was all Alba – or to be more precise, he and Alba scaring each other.
The actor captioned the video with the words: ‘A look back at 2022,’ along with a series of heart emojis.
As the rumour mill whirled over the pair’s potential relationship last year, one source told People Magazine that the rumoured couple had been together for over a year and it was ‘serious.’
They added: ‘They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her.’
The clip sees Chris and Alba take turns at jumping out and shouting at each other to give one another a fright, with Chris rolling on the floor in laughter multiple times.
At one point Alba, delighted after scaring him to the point where he dropped to the ground, cuddled up with him and laughed as he recovered.
