Daan Van Der Linden’s Latest Nike SB Blazer Court Is Inspired by a Science Museum

In the past,

Crafted of canvas, the shoe’s upper is dressed in an ultra-dark turquoise tone to represent the deepest reaches of outer space. A large, tonal rubber ollie pad on the lateral forefoot provides enhanced durability, and black leather Swooshes add branded detail. The deep-space inspiration is most obvious on the tongue tag and heel, however, thanks to a crinkled space suit-like material embellished with orange text. Blaze orange is placed on the top eyestay for a pop of flair, and insoles add a text hit of their own plus a repeating orange pattern. Down below, trim black rubber midsoles and outsoles round off the look.
