Gemma Collins treats fans to sparkling extravaganza at Mighty Hoopla festival

Gemma Collins joined the Might Hoopla festival’s star-studded line-up for a performance in Brockwell Park on Saturday.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 42, took to the stage ahead of a setlist she promised fans would ‘break the internet’.

Revealing her excitement at the opportunity to sing for thousands of eager fans, the GC documented her preparation for the big moment on Instagram and build the anticipation for followers.

She filmed herself in the car on the way to the venue and sported her signature black sunglasses and blonde locks as she explained she was ‘on her way’.

Stepping out onto the stage she wore sequins and feathers galore before belting out the words to Hey Big Spender, albeit missing her cue.

Head to toe in her trademark OTT glamour, the star put on a silver one-sleeve bodysuit that featured a plethora of black feathers and black suit pants with a silver accent down each leg.

Raising the mic to her lips, the extravagant reality TV personality slipped up and failed to start on time but her early mistake didn’t kill any vibes as she halted proceedings to begin again and finished her set.

Fans immediately took to social media to share their thoughts on the performance with one writing: ‘Who needs primavera and Beyonce when you got Gemma Collins missing her cue on ‘Hey Big Spender’ and starting it over again [sic].’

Another noted: ‘Gemma Collins performing Big Spender at Mighty Hoopla was everything one could wish for and more!’

‘Best shout I have heard all year love this [sic],’ was an Instagram user’s reaction to a clip of the show posted by Gemma.

The glitzy star uploaded a snippet from her festival spectacle and in it could be seen swinging one of her silver feathered gloves high above her head.

Offering crowds everything her brand stood for, the stage was filled with pink balloons and her backing dancers and singers were dressed in cow-print ensembles and too many silver sequins to count.

Gemma penned a caption alongside her video sharing her feelings following the gig: ‘Thank you @mightyhoopla and GOODNIGHT. Remember always be who YOU ARE, be proud of who YOU ARE, do not hide who YOU ARE from anyone. BE LOUD BE PROUD AND F@#K THEM ALL love GC X And to the fabulous individual that got my glove, keep it safe hunny because that’s gonna be worth a fortune one day [sic].’
