Man gets 400 Tinder matches and very rude chat up lines by using gender swap app

A man was inundated with messages and terrible chat up lines from single guys on Tinder after using a gender swap filter on his profile picture.

Jake Askew, 20, was shocked by the result of the Snapchat filter so decided to prank people on the app by setting up an account.

The account – Jess, 19 – was a bit hit and before long he had 1,650 likes and 400 matches.

He was also sent a selection of chat-up lines, some of which were very, very rude.

Sharing screengrabs on Twitter he wrote: "So rather than going out, me & SJ decided to see how far Jess could go on tinder.. within an hour I was the most popular girl in Derby."

Jake, who lives in Norwich, told LadBible: "To be fair I looked at myself with the Snapchat filter on and thought I looked unreal, showed my mate and we thought we'd make a Tinder just to see if I'd get any matches from it.

"Obviously didn't expect to be liked by over 1600 thirsty lads.

"I didn't let anyone know about it, I'll keep em guessing."

Jake shared screen grabs of just a few of the messages he was sent from guys interesting in getting to know Jess a little better.

One read: "Are you a beaver? Because Damn."

He also sent pictures of his inbox, including messages from lots of different men saying hi and asking for more photos.

Jake's post has been liked more then 13,000 times.

The filter caused a bit of trouble last week when a guy used it to prank his girlfriend .

Ryan Hill used it on a picture of him sleeping on the sofa and sent it to partner Melissa.

He wrote: "I have you bf's clothes on."

Unsurprisingly Melissa didn't find it funny and demanded to know who the 'woman' was, resulting in a huge text row.
