New Trailer Gives Detailed Look at Pokémon ‘Brilliant Diamond’ and ‘Shining Pearl’
Nintendo released a trailer on Wednesday showcasing its upcoming Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl releases.
The games are remakes of the 2006 Nintendo DS titles made specifically for the Switch console. Set in the Sinnoh region, the protagonist has been recruited by a famous professor in the field of Pokémon Evolution to travel the area and complete a Pokédex. The options for the first Pokémon partner include Turtwig, a grass type, Chimchar, a fire type or Piplup, a water type.
The new trailer begins by showing off the region and teasing the characters in the game. The game offers a familiar layout and battles, albeit with updated graphics and more customization options.
Both games feature unique legendary and wild Pokémon exclusive to their title, with Dialga, a steel/dragon type available in Brilliant Diamond and Palkia, a water/dragon type available in Pokémon Shining Pearl.
Watch the trailer for both games above, set to be released on November 19.
