NOAH SS21 Is Mature, Measured and Deliberate

NOAH doesn’t like to rush fashion. As founder Brendon Babenzien recently told HYPEBEAST, “As a society, we’ve accepted this culture of ‘more, more, more, more,’ with fashion in particular. It’s kind of gotten us into this conundrum we have today of just having too much.” NOAH’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection is in defiance of that attitude, still offering a plethora of approachable wearables, but separating the wheat from the chaff so as to strip its lineup to only offer what really matters.

“Our Spring 2021 collection celebrates this season of hope,” NOAH says in a statement, also highlighting the silver lining of being able to rest and recuperate for much of 2020: foresight to produce versatile clothing that supports its wearers’ drive to simply go outside, to enjoy the outdoors. Ranging from staple silhouettes and refined layering pieces to revisions of some of NOAH’s favored creations, the new collection is packed with clothing that’s truly intended to be worn, worn and worn again.

Focusing on a wide-ranging delivery capable of handling the highs and lows of transitional weather, NOAH has delivered a comprehensive selection of genderfluid garments at ease in nearly any wardrobe and at any occasion. Timeless crewneck sweaters, weather-resistant coats, printed shirts, pleated slacks and cozy knit beanies permeate the affair, punched up by plenty of graphic T-shirts and other layering pieces laden with stripes, florals or plaids. Tailoring mingles with rugby shirts, berets, acid-washed jeans and swim shorts, demonstrating no shortage of versatile garments equipped to handle any event.

Look for the SS21 deliveries to begin hitting NOAH’s website and flagship stores on February 11, with new drops scheduled for each following Thursday.

Meanwhile, a similar approach to seasonal casualwear informs the warm weather stylings of Japan’s BEAMS PLUS.
