Peter Andre 'feels sick' as son Junior, 18, goes on first lads holiday to Ibiza
Peter Andre is more than a little anxious as his son Junior Andre jets off on his first lads’ holiday.
The teenager recently turned 18 and is celebrating with his first big trip away with his pals – to Ibiza.
Most likely not going to be filled with exploring museums and having early nights, the worried father admitted he had a ‘sick sort of feeling.’
‘Junior’s going off on holiday with his friends,’ Peter began in a video after dropping off his eldest child, before giving somewhere between a scoff and a worried gulp.
‘He’s going off with his friends. I mean, he’s 18 today obviously.’
Peter added that he had shared a ‘great day’ with his son and younger daughter Princess, 15, but ‘taking him to the airport I was getting that sick sort of feeling in my gut.’
‘But I really want him to have fun and enjoy himself. He’s with people I know so I know he’s going to have a good time.’
Casually, he then added that the teenager was also ‘performing at Ibiza Rocks’ – having recently embarked on a musical career, following in his famous dad’s footsteps.
‘Aw man – it’s hard, you know. Because legally he’s an adult.’
Becoming slightly emotional, the Mysterious Girl singer finished: ‘But anyway. Just having a moment, wanted to share it, hope you don’t mind.’
Both of Peter’s children with ex wife Katie Price have started out on their careers in creative industries, with Princess clinching a modeling deal with PrettyLittleThing.
Last year, Junior brought out his debut single, which performed well on the charts, and has since been playing gigs around the UK, including as a support act for musician Hrvy at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
He signed a record contract with Columbia Records in 2021, and his career has been taking off since.
Pete has been adamant that his children’s first steps into their careers wouldn’t take away from their schoolwork.
In his New! column when it was revealed Princess had begun working with PLT, he wrote: ‘She gets asked to do stuff all the time, but she’s just doing bits here and there.
‘Nothing that interferes with schoolwork, I’m pretty strict about that.’
