Randy's Garments Wants to Make Workwear Lighter for SS21
New York-based label Randy’s Garments has followed up its recent capsule that focused on Japanese twill and industrial denim, by launching a Spring/Summer 2021 capsule that aims to make workwear more lightweight.
Cut and sewn in the heart of the city, the brand looked to patch up the disconnect between workwear having to bear heavyweight canvas and denims, by designing products that are a little more summer-friendly.
Weighing in at 6oz — lighter than the usual jacket — each piece retains the same durability and high-quality construction we’ve come to expect from the brand, but feels considerably more lightweight. Building on its arsenal of Japanese twill, the label has also expanded looks to reach five bright and vibrant colorways, each of which come with matching pants.
A plethora of T-Shirts, hoodies, shorts, caps and accessories complete Randy’s Garments’ SS21 collection, which can be seen in full through the lookbook above, and is available to buy now from the brand’s online webstore.
In other news, Margaret Howell and Barbour have reconnected for a two-piece outerwear capsule.
