Stüssy and Our Legacy WORK SHOP Rekindle for Graphic-Heavy Fall 2021 Collection

Stüssy and Our Legacy WORK SHOP first joined hands back in August 2020, working together to upcycle their unwanted fabrics and deadstock materials into new — and much desired — pieces that has since spawned a “Holiday Market” drop, an SS21 collection fit for the beach, and an even more relaxed summer-ready capsule that came earlier this year. Now, the powerhouse duo is back yet again, this time delivering its first fall-appropriate capsule collection that continues its eco-friendly ethos and design methods.

Naturally, deadstock fabrics and old materials from bygone collections have been remastered into T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, light jackets, shirts and heavier overshirts, a thigh-length duffle coat, an anorak, corduroy jacket, a fleece liner cardigan, and more. Stüssy’s signature graces the rear of plenty of pieces alongside the Yin Yang design that Our Legacy frequently uses in its work, while other tropes of Stüssy appear.

For example, a “WORK STÜSSY SHOP”-branded crest, somewhat similar to that of the bar and shield logo of Harley Davidson or other classic American motoring companies, adorns a long-sleeve tee, while another features a skull graphic intertwined with flowers for something quintessentially Stüssy. Elsewhere, RealTree camouflage has been used across the entirety of a pair of jeans and a matching pullover, while the Stüssy surfman logo graces the cord jacket, which in itself is the star of the show this season.

Rounding out the Fall 2021 offering is a pair of beige loafers that combine traditional penny details on the throat with a chunky Vibram sole unit, as per the Our Legacy footwear formula.

The Stüssy x Our Legacy WORK SHOP Fall 2021 collection is due to drop on October 29 at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) via Stussy’s website and select Chapter stores, as well as at select Dover Street Market locations worldwide and Our Legacy’s stores and website.

In other news, Verdy’s Girls Don’t Cry and Wasted Youth have been enlisted to rework Levi’s classic staples.
