Tom Sachs Releases the Rocket Factory Fanny Pack
Last summer, Tom Sachs launched his NFT collection called the Rocket Factory that invited the crypto community to assemble three separate Component NFTs into a single Rocket NFT using the blockchain. The process which the artist calls “comburning” is lauded as the first of its kind in regards to the creation of NFTs with possibilities for the technology, abound. Once assembled, the digital rocket is then translated as a physical sculpture at Sachs’ studio in Lower Manhattan.
Sachs’ studio team has announced a new limited-edition Rocket Factory Fanny Pack is available exclusively to Rocket Factory NFT holders. The multi-faceted bag is made out of Dyneema® which is a stronger, steel waterproof and lightweight non-woven composite fabric.
The primary dump pocket was crafted to accommodate a standard letter size clipboard, notebook, iPad or 13” MacBook. Other highlights include a quick-release buckle for donning, doffing and easy tensioning with a waist belt to match as well as shoulder strap equipped with a self-ejecting buckle.
“This bag will wrinkle. It will get dirty. With use, the Dyneema® will soften into a fabric-like texture, becoming a roadmap of your journey,” as per a statement. Head to Tom Sachs’ Rocket Factory website for more information.
