Danner and Nanga Utilise Sleeping Bags for FW20 Over Boots

Fresh from a collaborative release alongside NEIGHBORHOOD, footwear brand Danner has now teamed up with down brand Nanga to release a duo of two-in-one insulated winter-ready Freddo boots.

Known for its innovative use of feather down in mainly insulated climbing products like apparel, sleeping bags and footwear, Nanga has been manufacturing special products for over 70 years.

Utilising Nanga’s Aurora Light sleeping bag, the two brands have created a pair of two-in-one Freddo boots comprising an inner crafted from the aforementioned sleeping bag, and a classic Danner over boot.

The base design of the overboots follows Danner’s winter standard winter boots and boasts a waterproof outer membrane. The tape and buckle on the instep allows for easy slip on and off, while the strength of the fit can be adjusted for additional comfort. Arriving in an all-black colorway with either an orange or blue inner boot, each Freddo boot comes in a matching two-tone shoe bag.

The Nanga x Danner Freddo Over Boots are set to drop on November 6 and will be available from the brand’s online webstore.

In other news, Yohji Yamamoto and Dr. Martens have dropped pair of asymmetrical Temperley Twisted Boots costing$1,190 USD.
