Eagle-eyed shoppers spot Sainsbury’s are preparing for a MEGA toy sale – here’s how to see what’s going to be cut price

EAGLE-eyed shoppers think Sainsbury’s is stocking its shelves ready for a mega toys sale next week.

Photos of the supermarket lining shelves with toys were shared on Facebook, with bargain hunters speculating what may be discounted in the store’s Christmas toys sale.

A shopper shared pictures to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, and wrote: “Sainsburys – these are in our local store im presuming getting ready for their sale next week.

“You will find lots of toys repeated on each shelf (i haven't taken a photo of the normal toy aisle BTW).”

Many shoppers seemed excited for the big sales, with one writing: “We need to go to this.”

Another thrifty shopper added: “Should have a look next week.”

Deals websites Money Saver Online and Ways To Save have teamed up to put their expertise together on when Christmas toys sales are likely to start this year.

The deals websites told The Sun they've based these predictions on previous years' sales, as well as on insider information.

They shared how Sainsbury's is predicted to launch a half price toy sale in stores on October 14.

We don't know what toys will be included but last year's sale, which ran for just under a week, saw discounts on brands such as Hot Wheels, Hatchimals and Playmobil.

Sainsbury’s, Smyths and Morrisons were, however, criticised for not having enough stock to meet demand in last October's sales with many shoppers finding empty shelves.

They also expect Black Friday deals, which is on November 27 this year, to go ahead early again as we saw last year.

We shared how mums show off their amazing £1 bargains and shopping hauls as Sainsbury’s slashes clothing by up to 70 percent.

Meanwhile, Sainsbury’s launches cosy line of joggers, dresses & loungewear for Dress Well, Feel Good campaign, priced from £3.50.
