From Little Mix to Kelly Brook, we try out celebs’ new Xmas party clothing collections – The Sun

GET a dose of star style this party season. The countdown to Christmas is on so it is time to start thinking about those all-important outfits. A host of celebrities have teamed up with fashion brands to release their own clothing collections.

Girl band Little Mix launched their collaboration with online retailer Pretty Little Thing last week, while This Morning’s Rochelle Humes is back with a range for New Look and Kelly Brook is modelling her edit of F&F at Tesco’s partywear. From sequins to suits, these celebs have thought of everything to make you party-ready. But are they any good?

Or should these famous faces stick to their day jobs? ABBY McHALE rates the looks with help from model Courtney Smith, of North London, who gives her verdicts.

Abbey Clancy edit for Lipsy – 6/10

  • Silver dress, £58, Lipsy – buy now
  • Earrings, £12, Mood by Jon Richard – buy now
  • Pink heels, £22, Pretty Little Thing  – buy now

COURTNEY SAYS: “I love the long sleeves on a short dress – especially as they are are puffy, which is flattering. A bit shiny for my taste, like something Abbey would have worn on Strictly. I prefer her more everyday looks. I like the comfort of the wrap shape. It’s a fun party dress you can throw on and look fab. But the sequins might itch a bit.”

Little Mix collection for Pretty Little Thing – 6/10

  • Pink oriental dress, £40, Pretty Little Thing – buy now
  • Pink heels, £22, Pretty Little Thing – buy now
  • Earrings, £12, Mood by Jon Richard – buy now

COURTNEY SAYS: “Cute. The slit may put some off. But Little Mix have a sexy sense of style, even if it isn’t always for me. I like the cutout on the neck.”

Scarlett Moffatt edit for Peacocks – 8/10

  • Jumpsuit, £25, Peacocks – buy now
  • Heels, £38, Dune London – buy now
  • Bracelets, £7 for 2, Accessorize – buy now

COURTNEY SAYS: “I didn’t think any-thing from Scarlett would be my style but this is the comfiest outfit by far, easy to wear and you could bust a move in it as the fabric is stretchy. It is simple but if you like something a little understated, this is perfect.”

Rochelle Humes edit for New Look – 9/10

  • Leopard dress, £27.99, New Look – buy now
  • Black heels, £23.99,  New Look – buy now
  • Belt, £12.99, New Look – buy now
  • Bag, £19.99, New Look – buy now

COURTNEY SAYS: “I love Rochelle’s style, she always looks so polished and I love that the dress is high-neck, as it feels very sophisticated but still sexy. It’s not too tight, like some dresses, and I love that the colour is a muted red and the fabric feels super-luxe. I love this look.”

Cara Delevingne edit for Nasty Gal – 5/10

  • Top, £35, Nasty Gal – buy now
  • Trousers, £45, Nasty Gal – buy now
  • Shoes, £17.99, New Look – buy now

COURTNEY SAYS: “The trousers have no pockets but look cool. They may seem scary but you could dress them down with a jumper. The top is jazzy and comfy but not good for those who can’t go without a bra. Cara’s dress sense is quite androgynous but this is different – something I want to try and pull off.”
