Halloween 2018 party ideas – the best costume, game, recipe and decoration inspiration
Here's our guide to all things party when it comes to the 31 October…
Decorations
If you're hosting a house party then the first thing you'll need to think about is decorations.
Ripped up white bin liners stuck to the walls in the hallway will give the house a creepy feel when people first enter, and it will prevent the walls from getting dirty, win-win.
If you're feeling creative you could make a DIY dead body to hang from the ceiling, always a crowd-pleaser.
If buying decorations is more your thing then there are hoards of styles available from stores such as Wilko, Tesco and The Range.
From bloody stickers for your front door to jack-o-lanterns and fake cauldrons, you can find pretty much anything on the high-street.
Recipes
Jelly worms
A very simple and quick Halloween snack you can whip up is this 'worms in the mud' style plate.
All you need are some Oreos and some strawberry laces.
Crush up the biscuit part of the Oreo, stick the laces in and voila!
Spooky cookies
Invest in some Halloween shaped cookie cutters and coloured icing, and you can make some funky cookies that will wow any party guest.
Just make some standard sugar cookies and get creative with the decorating.
