I was sick of forking out on pricey beauty products so headed to Savers – I got a huge haul for just £21.20 | The Sun

A KEEN bargain hunter revealed what happened when she headed to Savers instead of Boots to stock up on all her beauty essentials.

Lilly claimed it was the place to head if you’re running short on hair oil, gradual tan, and tampons, with many items coming in cheaper.

Known online as @lileviex, the content creator regularly shares beauty tips and bargain hauls with her 37,800 followers.

In a new TikTok reel, she said: “Right, does somebody want to explain to me why I’ve not shopped in Savers really before?

“Because I got some bargains and I feel like I need to show you guys.”

She added: “So I’ve just run out of everything, like tampons, razors, hair stuff, all that stuff, so I was like, ‘do you know what, let’s go into Savers and let me see what I can find’.

During the three-minute video, the savvy shopper revealed what she stocked up on – and how the prices compared to other stores.

She continued: “So these are probably one of the cheapest sanitary products, like branded sanitary products I’ve ever seen.

“I got a pack of Tampax, these were only £2, and I went into Boots the other day and these were £3, £4 and I was like, ‘tampons should not be that expensive’.

“So I picked up some of those, and then I also got pads. These are just Bodyform ones. They say £1.49 but they were on offer for £1 so bloody great.

“I also picked up a pack of razors. I have opened them because I used one this morning. These were £2.25 but razors are all a bit of a scam but yeah, not too bad.

“They were the cheapest out of all of them I could find.

“I also picked up some men’s ones as well, just to see the difference, but these were £1.49 I believe.

“I get asked how I maintain my tan and stuff throughout the week. My hack is to put on a bit of gradual body lotion on every morning after you’ve tanned, and that way it just keeps the tan looking fresh.

“I normally like to use the Garnier Summer Body one, but they didn’t have that in Savers but they normally do. So I got the Dove one. This was £3.99.

“I get the medium to dark skin one because I just like how it looks.

“Moisturiser, the Simple one. I literally just use a really basic moisturiser. You don’t need anything expensive. This was £2.49

“I got a hair oil. I normally use Olaplex but I’m skint at the minute so I got the Pantene one. This was £3.99.

“Then I picked up my favourite little eyebrow gel ever. This is the got2b Glued one. That was £3.99. Love it.”

“If I got all of that in Boots, even with my student discount, I know that it would have probably been £30, £40 quid because it’s so expensive now.

“This all came to £21.20 which I don’t think is that bad. I think that’s okay.”

Fans loved her bargain haul, with the video gaining more than 1,100 likes and 19,900 views.
