I’m a cleaning pro, the £4 supermarket product that will brighten up your grubby white underwear | The Sun

WHEN you buy a white underwear set or bikini, there’s almost an acceptance that it will turn grubby and grey.

But that no longer has to be the case, as a cleaning pro has shared their hack for making them gleaming white again.

Megan Reed, who shares all things beauty and lifestyle on her TikTok profile @megarroni, revealed she had made a new discovery that totally changes the game when it comes to bringing the formerly white garments back to their best.

She shared a helpful step-by-step video tutorial to her page, showing how none other than purple shampoo is the hero product you need.

The beauty product, which can be bought for as little as £4, can be used to wash the garments – and in no time at all they’ll look good as new.

Megan explained: “Life hack: use purple shampoo to lighten and brighten white bathing suits if you can’t use bleach on the fabric.”

The clip, which has been liked over 26,000 times, then shows the amazing before and after.

In the before footage, the white bikini is looking tired and dull with particularly grubby parts around the seams.

However, once the purple shampoo is placed directly onto the material and lathered up using your hands, it takes just minutes to work its magic.

The after then shows how it's back to its best and sparkling white.
