I’m a cooking expert – you only need three kitchen tools from Dollar Tree that will make your life easier

KITCHEN appliances and tools can get pricey, but one cooking expert claims they don’t need to be.

He shared three kitchen tools from Dollar Tree that he believes will make your life easier and your wallet happier.

First, the guru, who goes by @stoveandgarden on TikTok, recommended buying a small rectangular basket that can be used as a portable trash can.

“Putting a little wastebasket next to your cutting board helps keep your cutting board clean,” he explained in his video.

“Gathering all your scraps here next to your cutting board saves a lot of time and a lot of effort taking this over to your trash can across the room.”

The second tool recommended by the expert was a bench scraper.

He said a bench scraper is “not only great for dough, but it’s great for scooping up veggies” and clearing off your workstation.

Lastly, he showed a tool he thinks is “the most under-utilized”: a wire strainer.

“It’s great for sifting flour and dusting powder for garnishes,” he noted.

The Dollar Tree doesn’t just have great prices for simple kitchen items; it covers a range of categories of household needs.

For instance, one cleaning fanatic recommended the store’s handheld dusting brush for getting rid of the dirt in window sills and sliding door tracks.

A professional Christmas tree decorator revealed she dressed a whole tree up for just $45 thanks to Dollar Tree.

However, it is important to note that prices for various goods are starting to rise at Dollar Tree.

The company announced in September that it plans to offer items for $1.25 and $1.50 and that some stores will test selling products for $3 and $5.

Per CNN Business, the change will be completed by the first quarter of 2022.
