I’m a money saving expert – how to bag a free massage, meals and gym session with minimal effort
A MONEY-SAVING expert has revealed the free and easy ways you can bag a free meal, gym class, or even a luxury pamper session.
Anna Whitehouse is currently on screen with Channel 4 series Secret Spenders: Beat the Price Rises, which helps families who are strapped for cash get their finances in order.
However, in the most recent episode of the show, hosted by Anita Rani, she was also on hand to give viewers some handy tricks of how to get a VIP experience without breaking the bank.
In a special segment, Anna explained she was “going to be living for free” for the entire day – but she wouldn’t be scrimping and scraping.
She said: “In these cash-strapped times, I want to know over the next 24 hours if I can have fun times with no money spent.”
Anna then went on to reveal how she was going to do it and allowed the cameras to capture her every move.

First, she made her way to a beauty school in the nearby area, and discovered a way to receive a free hand massage.
Anna explained: “The average woman spends £3000 on beauty treatments a year. Today, though, I’m going to get pampered for free.
“This beauty school isn’t charging me for my treatment, my hand massage. You could have a pedicure, a manicure, or a facial for free.”
Anna then explained that that’s because her beauty technician was a trainee keen on gaining experience and so she was being her model for the day.

She revealed: “Most gyms offer a free taster session in the hopes that you will join up, so why not try them all for free before making a decision?”
Once she’d worked up a sweat, Anna said it was time to refuel – and luckily she found an innovative way to bag a free meal.
Explaining how she did it, Anna said: “Time for some free food. Like many restaurant food chains, Tortilla is looking for reviewers. All you have to do is head over to their website.”
