A WOMAN has shared how she makes her own chocolate twists at home, for just 65p.

So if you like the tasty treat from Costa, but don’t want to keep splashing the cash on the pricey snack, you’ve come to the right place.

Savvy mum-of-two Casey Major-Hunce took to social media to show off her recipe, leaving many open-mouthed.

She explained that to make her chocolate twists, you will need two rolls of puff pastry, a pot of custard, chocolate chips and some milk.

“Bake in the oven at 200 for 20-25 mins and enjoy.”

Casey demonstrated her quick and easy snack recipe and shortly after, once the sweet treats were cooked and removed from the oven, the foodie filmed herself as she sprinkled over some icing sugar.

While a chocolate twist from Costa will set you back £3.05, for just 65p, Casey’s hack is a very affordable alternative, saving you £2.40 per bake.

The mother later explained: “It’s [65p] per serving. It’s £1.25 for a roll but you can make four smaller ones and just fold it over so [it] makes them cheaper.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @majormumhacks, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed a staggering 402,300 views in just one day.
