I’m a size 18 – I tried dozens of viral clothing hacks on a plus-sized body & even Kim Kardashian’s | The Sun

FASHION trends can flatter every body type and one stylist has shown how she styles popular looks on her curvy figure.

TikTok user Ms. Kristine is known for styling outfits on her curvy-shaped body, trying out a number of clothing trends including SKIMS.

OVERSIZED BUTTON-DOWN

First, the creator tried out the oversized button-down trend.

Rather than a normal oversized shirt, she used a button-down shirt dress that fit a little bigger than a shirt would.

To add some balance to the shirt dress, she paired it with a pair of denim shorts and a black crop top.

Ms. Kristine said she rolled up the sleeves of the shirt dress so that it didn't look overly baggy on her.

"I think it works with the trend but also works with my body," she said.

SKIMS DRESS

"I've never seen anyone my size try this on," said Ms. Kristine.

The stylist tried on the very-hyped-up SKIMS Soft Lounge Long Slip Dress.

"It did hug me in all the right places, but shapewear is a must."

UPSIDE-DOWN BODYSUIT

"I've never thought to turn any garment upside down," she said.

In another video, Ms. Kristine tried out the upside-down bodysuit hack.

Instead of clipping the bodysuit in between her legs, she turned the bodysuit upside down and clipped it over one of her shoulders.

"You get two bodysuits in one," she said.

SCARF TOP

First, the stylist put on a necklace and folded a scarf into a triangle.

She looped one end of the scarf through the necklace chain and tied the ends together.

To keep the top together, she tied the back shut.

BODYSUIT CROP TOP

Because of her larger chest, Ms. Kristine wasn't sure this bodysuit trick would work for her.

To create a crop top out of a bodysuit, she unclipped the bottom part and wrapped each side around the chest area between her breasts.

Many users loved her tricks, saying: "Girl you look really good," and "It fits fantastic with you!!!"
