I'm midsize and did a Sainsbury's TU haul – here’s everything I got plus where you definitely need to size up | The Sun

SAVVY shoppers have long been kitting out their wardrobe with supermarket buys.

Now one midsize fashion fan has revealed how Sainsbury’s have stepped up their fashion game, as she bagged a huge TU clothing haul from her local store.

Leah Jane runs a TikTok account called @Leah_Jane__dedicated to “midsize fashion and body acceptance.”

In one of her latest social media videos, Leah tried on each of the outfits she’d bought, as she decided whether to keep them or not.

And while some of the ensembles earned a big thumbs up, Leah also admitted she had a few tiny regrets – and they were all to do with sizing.

First, Leah modelled a pair of navy smart jogging style trousers with a beige stripe down the side teamed with an oversized white shirt.

As she showed her 86.1k followers the outfit from different angles, she ummed and ahed.

She then tucked one half of the shirt into the trousers and kept the other hanging out to give it a fresh, new look.

It was a decision that ultimately paid off, as Leah revealed she was a fan of the combo and was going to keep it.

However, she then stepped closer to the camera to show how the navy trousers were quite tight around her hips and the pockets overhang, as she encouraged others to size up in them.

She wrote: “Wish I got the size up in the navy trousers as they are lush.”

She then showed how she could style it in different ways with another of her purchases – a beige boucle style blazer for £15 that matched the colour of the trouser stripe.

Once again, this got Leah’s seal of approval and she decided to keep the lot.

Another piece of clothing that went into her wardrobe was a white blouse with a black and pinky beige animal print design.

However, not everything in Leah’s haul was a success.

She tried on two different pairs of jeans – with exactly the same results.

The first ones were a baggy, light-coloured pair with rips on and just above the knee.

She teamed these with a simple grey T-shirt, which she tucked in.

However, Leah revealed she wasn’t a huge fan of the trousers after all and said she’d be taking them back.

Whereas pair number two were a slightly more fitted style and Leah said she also wasn’t a big fan.

Her followers were quick to comment on her purchases – and said they’d found exactly the same when it came to sizing.
