Is Meghan Markle’s baby here? Private ambulance with a police escort spotted driving through Windsor

BABY Sussex is due any moment now and fans are constantly on the lookout for any hints Meghan Markle has gone into labour.

Today, fans were sent into a frenzy after a BBC journalist tweeted that a private ambulance with a police escort had been spotted driving through Windsor.

However, the sighting proved to be another false alarm, after a palace representative confirmed to Fabulous Digital that it wasn’t connected with the Duchess of Sussex.

BBC presenter Simon McCoy had written: “Private ambulance with police escort seen driving through Windsor. #justsaying.”

It’s not the first ambulance sighting near Frogmore Cottage has proved to be unconnected to the duchess.

Last week an NHS South Central Ambulance Service was spotted in a car park just up the road from the home's back entrance, but excitement turned to disappointment after it was revealed the ambulance was there to pick up some food.

A spokesperson said it had parked up in a farm shop so paramedics could grab lunch for students working in the local area.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have kept fans guessing over the birth of their baby – with Meghan, 37, not planning to pose on the hospital steps with the newborn.

They posted a statement on April 11 they've "taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private".
